No. 11 Alvarez (9-6-4) vs. No. 10 Christopher (14-1-3) at Valley Christian, 7 p.m.
 Both teams have knocked off higher seeds in each of the first two rounds to reach the semifinals of the Division I playoffs
 Unbeaten in their last 10 games, the Pacific Division champion Cougars have shutout 11 teams this year, with goalie Carlos Arroyo compiling eight straight during one stretch.
 Arroyo has not allowed a goal in the playoffs, and was instrumental in a overtime shootout win over  Los Gatos in the first round. Christopher's only loss on the season was to Monterey.
 Alvarez used overtime to knock off No. 3 seed Los Altos last Saturday, with Ricardo Soza producing the game winning goal. Soza also had a key assist in the teams first goal.
 In nine wins, the Eagles have outscored the opposition 19-8. But in their six setbacks, they have been outscored 16-7.
