Tucker Forbes

 The 6-foot-9 UCLA closer has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association preseason watch list for Stopper of the Year.
 Forbes, who prepped at Stevenson, was 1-0 last year with a 2.11 earned run averaged, striking out 45 hitters in 38 1/3 innings.
 Last year Forbes was drafted in the Major League Baseball Amateur draft by the Giants, but choose to return for his junior year at UCLA.
 Forbes was a member of The Herald's All-County basketball and baseball teams as a senior, being named The Herald's Player of the Year in baseball.
