The Pacific Division champion Trojans come into the second round of the Division I playoffs riding a 14-game winning streak.
Half of Alisal's roster is filled with seven freshmen, who have been contributors off the bench during this magical ride.
Of course, the Trojans offense starts with senior Jessy Hurtado, who poured in 32 points in the teams playoff opening win over Andrew Hill on Tuesday.
Hurtado is averaging nearly 24 points a game for Alisal this season. Yet, if this team has aspirations of extending its season, it can't rely on one individual.
Rene Hurtado gave Alisal a presence in the paint this year while Darwin Ongy led the team in steals and assists.
A member of the Peninsula Athletic League's South Division, Sequoia took 476 attempts from the 3-point line this past season, draining 118.
Junior guard N'Jai LeBlanc knocked down 45 3-point goals for the Cherokee, who are 12-13 overall this season.
