It's hard not to pinpoint Alisal's rise to the top in the Pacific Division, as it has outscored opponents by 57 points in the second half of games this season.
Owners of six straight wins, the Trojans can open up a two-game lead in the Pacific Division tonight with a win at North County.
Alisal's winning streak started with a 44-42 win over the Condors on Jan. 7.
The Trojans have two players averaging over 20 points a game in league play for the first time in the programs history in Karely Apodaca and Lydia Garcia.
Alisal is 5-0 since Apodaca - who missed two weeks during the Christmas Holidays - returned to the lineup.
The only team to score 40 or more points off Alisal during its winning streak was the Condors, who are undefeated in league play at home.
Still stinging from a loss at Notre Dame, in which it produced its second lowest scoring output of the season, North County can create a tie at the top with Alisal with a win.
Amanda Torrez has been the cornerstone to the Condors offense. But this is a team that has had five different players lead them in scoring this year.
