The former Alvarez High and MPC basketball standout has scored 33 points in 11 games off the bench for the Missouri Valley College basketball team.
Listed as a center, the 6-foot-7 Wood is shooting 48 percent from the field, showcasing a nice touch from beyond the 3-point arc. The junior also has five assists and three steals.
Wood earned Herald All-County honors at Alvarez and started last season for MPC.
