No one is talking about the Mustangs. No one in King City is complaining.
A resurgent Mustangs squad has quietly snuck up on the upper echelon of the Mission Trail Athletic League at 4-1 going into tonight's battle at Stevenson.
Yet, if King City wants to get the attention of its peers, statements come on the road.
Jarod Davis has given King City an inside presence while Jovany Garcia is averaging over 15 points a game in league.
The Mustangs can't sit back and watch Stevenson launch jump shots or it will be a long night. Parker Olin has a county leading 43 3-point goals while Winston Elstob is a threat on the perimeter.
Davis could find himself matched up against 6-foot-5 sophomore Kevin Cook, who has been known to come out and shoot the jumper.
Both teams have league losses to defending champion Pacific Grove.
