Alvarez-Alisal girls hoops

The only blemish on Alisal's season in the Pacific Division came in a league opening 48-41 loss to Alvarez.
It could also have been looked upon as a turning point in the Trojans season.
Redemption will be on their minds tonight when Alisal puts its five-game winning streak on the line, hosting the Eagles.
Co-leaders of the Pacific Division, the Trojans have turned to Lydia Garcia and Karley Apodaca for point production, as the pair are averaging a combined 31 points a game.
It seems a different player has stepped up each game for the 4-2 Eagles, with JJ Chaboya, Angelina Ruiz and Larissa Toscano coming up big of late.
Both of Alvarez's league losses have been by a combined five points.
Alisal, which dropped its first four non-league games and was just 3-9 before the start of Pacific Division play, has held three league opponents under 40 points.
