The former Alvarez High and MPC standout produced a season high 16 points in 10 minutes for the Missouri Valley State men’s basketball team.

Wood, who has appeared in all seven games for the Vikings, has gradually seen his minutes increase.
The 6-foot-6 junior is averaging 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds a game, while shooting 52 percent from the field.
