The former Salinas High standout continues to be impressive in his return to the basketball court for San Jose State this winter, leading a resurgent squad in nearly every statistical category.
The 6-foot-9 Rogers is averaging a team high and career high 15.4 points a game. The senior also leads the Spartans in rebounds (8.6), block shots (11) and minutes played (30.3).Rogers is shooting 56 percent from the field.
Rogers helped the Cowboys to their last league title in 2011 with a 12-0 season. Salinas went 23-2 that year.
