Saturday's game
Hartnell (9-0) at West Hills (8-1), 1 p.m.
There will be no sharing the conference crown this year.
Both reigning co-champions are unbeaten in the American Golden Coast Conference going into the season finale.
West Hills' only loss all season came from Contra Costa in Week 2.
Ironically, Contra Costa was the last team to beat the Panthers in last year's bowl game.
While Hartnell is undefeated, it's battled tested, having been involved in three games decided by five points or less, including last week's 23-20 win over Reedley.
Quarterback Justyn Gutierrez has thrown for 2,654 yards and 27 touchdowns for Hartnell, with Eppy Henriquez having caught a team high 58 passes for 886 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Ronnie Turner is expected back this week after missing two games. The 6-foot-4 sophomore receiver has 49 catches, averaging over 100 receiving yards a game.
Marcus Washington has improved the ground with 480 yards and five touchdowns. He also has two touchdowns as a receiver out of the backfield.
West Hills has used three different freshmen quarterbacks this year with Cort Groathouse having thrown 13 touchdowns on 54 completions.
An opportunist West Hills defense has created 23 turnovers, helping compensate for the 22 turnovers its offense has had. Hartnell is plus two in turnover ratio this year.
Reggie McGee has had a monster season as a pass rusher for Hartnell with 13 sacks while Justin Pleasont leads the team in tackles with 55
