Hartnell men's soccer

Midfielder Daniel Pulido was named the Coast Conference’s Player of the Year for the nationally ranked Panthers.

Pulido, an Alisal High graduate, was also named to the all-State and all-North Region first teams for Hartnell, who will host a Northern California second round playoff game on Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.
Teammate Christian Santibanez was named the conference’s South Division Defensive Player of the Year and earned all-North Region first team honors as well.
Joining the pair on the Coast Conference first team for Hartnell were forward Javier Alfaro, defender Alex Cibrian, midfielder Chris Marinez and forward Jose Mendoza.
Second team selections went to forward Jose Martinez, midfielder Santiago Morales, defender Rigoberto Mariscal and goalie Fabian Narez.
Head coach Daniel Ortega was named the Coast Conference and North Region Coach of the Year.
Hartnell finished the year ranked No. 1 in the state a 18-1-2 and No. 2 in the NSCAA polls.
