Former Pacific Grove quarterback Luke Lowell suffered a season ending broken collarbone for the Pomona-Pitzer football team.

In two starts for Pomona-Pitzer, the sophomore had thrown for 265 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions in 35 attempts.
One of those touchdown passes came two plays after breaking his collarbone.
During his senior year at Pacific Grove, the 6-foot-2 Lowell set single-season school passing records for yards and touchdowns, leading the team to a spot in the CCS Division IV title game.
