Emma Fuzie has made an impact in her first season for the San Diego State volleyball team, compiling 114 kills through 20 matches.
The 6-foot-1 junior transfer has planted herself in the middle of the front row for the Aztecs, where she is second on the team in blocks with 49.Having transferred from Pepperdine, Fuzie has already surpassed her college career high’s in kills and blocks at San Diego State, having started 17 matches.
Last summer Fuzie was a member of the Mountain West All-Star team that captured a bronze medal at the 2015 European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia.
She was a four-year starter at Carmel, earning Most Valuable Player honors in the Mission Trail Athletic League twice.
