Winning Wednesday's Gabilan Division Center Meet and defeating defending league champion San Benito wasn't a fluke.
The Vikings ran well as all five of their runners finished in the top 18, with Raul Bazzara taking third and Christian Aldape fifth.
Those names are familiar.
The rest of the cast is building their own reputation while pushing the two senior distance aces.
Normally I don't put much into Center Meets.
But this one was a confidence builder for North Salinas. A 23 point margin isn't close.
