Michael Jensen

Michael Jensen’s fourth season in minor league baseball was arguably his best.
Promoted to the Chicago Cubs Double A affiliate this year in Tennessee, the 6-foot-1 right-hander was 2-2 with one save and a career low 2.23 earned run average.
Moved the bullpen two years ago after arm surgery shelved his 2013 season, Jensen struck out 29 hitters in 32 1/3 innings in 22 appearances -- all in relief.
Jensen, who was drafted by the Cubs in the 26th round in 2011 after two dominating seasons at Hartnell College, did not give up a home run this season, averaging 8.1 strikeouts per nine innings.
