Fremont-Pacific Grove football

Friday's game
Fremont, Sunnyvale (2-0) at Pacific Grove (1-0), 7:30 p.m.
Tri-champions of the El Camino Division last year, Fremont was moved into the De Anza Division this fall.
The Firebirds have had no trouble producing points through two games, having scored 99 in a pair of lopsided wins over Gunderson and Oakland.
Quarterback Alejandro Morales has completed 16-of-23 attempts for 523 yards for Fremont, with a quarter of his completions going for touchdowns.
Don't be mislead by 5-foot-6 tailback Ben Tui, who has 217 of the teams 323 rushing yards this fall for the Firebirds.
The defending Mission Trail Athletic League champion Breakers may have found another explosive tailback in Uche Ebo, who piled up 158 yards in his debut as the teams featured back.
A pass rushing demon last fall for Pacific Grove, Ebo spent the spring running track to build up his speed to go along with his power.
Perhaps emerging as a weapon on the outside is Kane Miller, who caught two touchdown passes two weeks ago for Pacific Grove -- both in the second half to erase a one-point deficit.
