Carmel girls water polo

 Two games into the season and the Padres have already surpassed last year's entire win total.
 Granted, it's just two games.
 But the offensive fire power warrants attention.
 Carmel has produced 18 goals in each of its first two games. Last season it manufactured 44 goals all year.
 Kelly Rice has been a sniper in the water for the Padres with 16 goals while goalie Sofia Supica has allowed just three goals this year, stopping 19 shots in the cage.
 The road will get more challenging, beginning Saturday with the Carmel Tournament. But talk about a confidence building start to the season.
