The former Salinas High volleyball standout is tearing up opposing defenses this fall for UC Santa Barbara with 105 kills, including a season high 17 in a four-game match earlier this month.

A two-time all Big West Conference selection, the 6-1 Barbeau has emerged as the Gauchos biggest threat, averaging 3.1 kills a game.
The senior outside hitter  is also second on the team in digs with 84 and has seven service aces. She came into the season with 602 career kills, including a career high 267 in 29 matches 2013.
