Kory Groves

Former CSU-Monterey Bay hurler Kory Groves is 1-0 with a 2.70 earned run average for the Baltimore Orioles rookie league team.

Drafted in the 34th round of MLB’s June Amateur draft by the Orioles, Groves has appeared in seven games, all in relief, with nine strikeouts in 10 innings of work in the Gulf Coast League.
Last spring Groves was 4-2 with three saves and a 1.03 earned run average for the Otters, recording 44 strikeouts in 43 innings.
