Michael Jensen

The former Salinas High hurler has made 22 relief appearances this summer for the Chicago Cubs Double A affiliate in Tennessee.

Jensen is 2-2 with one save and a 2.23 earned run average. Blessed with a 94 mph fastball, the right-hander has 29 strikeouts in 32 innings. He has yet to allow a home run and has finished seven games.
Jensen, a converted starting pitcher, was an All-American at Hartnell College, choosing the Cubs over a baseball scholarship to USC in 2011.
