Asked to fill a void after Monterey graduated its two most prolific scorers, Panzetta stepped in and produced 48 goals in the water last fall, converting more than 50 percent of her shots.
Panzetta was also a defensive demon for the Toreadores, finishing among the team leaders in steals, creating havoc in the water.
