The Hartnell College distance ace has added another honor to his mantel this year after being named the California Community College Athlete of the Year.
Leon, who is headed to Montana State on a track and field/cross country scholarship, won a state cross country title, as well as the 10,000 and 1,500 meters in track.
An Anzar graduate, Leon was the Northern California Community College Track Athlete of the Year, helping Hartnell to a Coast Conference team crown.
