An all-league defensive back last year as a sophomore, Valencia was also among the team leaders in rushing and receiving yards for Alisal.
He made the most of his limited carries in the backfield, averaging 6.8 yards each time he touched the ball. He also averaged over 20 yards a catch last fall for the Trojans.
