The former Salinas High forward was named to the Junior College all-state basketball team at Butte College.
The 6-foot-4 Caldwell was fifth in the state in scoring at 19.5 points a game, earning Golden Valley Player of the Year honors.
Caldwell was a member of The Herald's All-County basketball team in 2012, leading the Cowboys in points and rebounds.
