Greenfield has some much-needed speed at the skilled positions this year and it starts with Perez, who ran on the 400 relay team this past spring and is a hurdler in track.
Perez's credentials at the lower levels have been impressive. He is explosive, meaning he needs just a small seam to get into the open field. The junior will also line up as a defensive back.
