Pacific Grove at Monterey
A classic feel good story for senior catcher Derek Giacalone, who had two more hits in one playoff game than he had in all of 2014.
"There is a reason I'm at the bottom of the order,'' the Monterey catcher said.
Yet, Giacalone ripped a double to open the bottom of the 10th inning for the Toreadores. One out later, he was scoring the game winning run in a 3-2 win over Pacific Grove.
