A recruited walk-on redshirt sophomore, the 6-foot-9 Forbes has made 13 appearances this year for the Bruins, recording 11 strikeouts in 11 innings.
Forbes, The Herald’s Baseball Player of the Year in 2012 at Stevenson, has made the fourth most appearances on the mound for UCLA. Opponents are hitting just .256 off him.
