No team has ripped more homers this spring than Stevenson.
Yet, for all the power the Pirates have possessed, the run production is down.
In part because 15 of those home runs have come from Dominique Seva'aetasi and Jensen Main. And most of them have been solo shots.
Case in point is Seva'aetasti, who has a county high nine homers this year, but just 12 runs batted in. Main has six bombs, but just 15 RBI.
Simply put, the rest of the lineup has struggled. That comes when you've got players on the field still learning the gam -- all of which will be back next year.
Tight games have been a theme this spring for the Pirates, as six of their eight MTAL games have been decided by two runs or less.
