Fionna Jensen has been named to the USA Field Hockey National Futures team for the Western Region 11.
The Monterey sniper was one of 24 girls chosen from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada.
She is the first field hockey player from Monterey County to be named to a regional team, which will compete in a national tournament in June in Pennsylvania.
