Carmel-Sacred Heart Prep baseball

Central Coast Section Division II finals
Saturday's game
No. 7 Carmel (23-7) vs. No. 4 Sacred Heart Prep, Atherton (20-12), 1 p.m., at San Jose Muni Stadium.
No one has been more dominating in the postseason than Gators pitcher Will Johnston, who has not allowed a run in 17 innings in the playoffs.
But Johnston can't pitch more than three innings in Saturday's championship game, having already tossed seven in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Monterey in the semifinals.
The Mission Trail Athletic League tri-champion Padres won't have their leader behind the plate as catcher Robby Treadwell suffered a compound dislocation to his right leg on Tuesday.
After a pair of 10-run, five inning wins, Carmel used a clutch walk-off single from Andres Enriquez to beat Aragon 4-3 in the semifinals.
While Treadwell will be sorely missed behind the dish, the Padres are a deep team at the plate with an abundance of hitters led by Kenny Nava, Carter Hayes and Bryson Lino.
Pitching has been the key for the Gators. In six of their last eight games, the pitching staff has held the opponent to a run or less.
Carmel has won eight CCS titles, the last coming in 2007. It is third all time in playoff wins with 54, behind only Bellarmine and Serra.
Sacred Heart Prep has never won a CCS baseball title.
