Brittany File

Brittany File has earned another honor at Emory University after being named to the Capital One Academic All-District softball team.

Named the conferences Pitcher of the Week three times this spring, the sophomore hurler is 17-4 in the circle, the second highest win total in the University Athletic Association.
File was also named to the NCAA Region All-Tournament team after earning all three wins, pitching nationally ranked Emory to a tournament title.
A former Carmel High standout, File sports a 2.40 earned run average with 147 strikeouts in 125 1/3 innings, averaging eight strikeouts a game.
 Earlier this year, File tossed the programs first seven-inning no-hitter since 2005.
