The senior second baseman has reached base in 16 of his 20 starts this spring for the University of Hawaii baseball team.
Slowed by a knee injury earlier in the season that cost him 13 games, the four-year starting second baseman leads the Warriors in steals with four.Ventimilia is also among the team leaders in runs scored (14) and walks (13).
A former seven-sport standout at Monterey, Ventimilia has 112 hits in four years at Hawaii, 44 runs batted in and 31 steals.
