Seaside swimming

A look up at the banners that crowd the Seaside gym wall and absent is swimming.
 There are none.
Swimming has not been a hot topic when the subject turns to Seaside sports.
 Until now.
When you're undefeated, it gets people's attention.
And the Spartans girls swimming team is undefeated through four dual meets.
Swimming is no longer a leisure sport at Seaside. And right now, it's the only girls sports program on campus chasing a league championship.
A team of experienced swimmers includes Lexi Valero, who is unbeaten this spring in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly.
Alicia Lopez, Natalie Arabaca, Edenne Flinn and Valero have yet to be beaten this year in the 400 free relay.
A win over visiting Alisal on Friday would give the girls team a school record five straight wins.
