North Salinas-Monterey baseball

 This game intrigues me.
Some felt North Salinas should have been moved into the Gabilan Division this spring after running off with the Pacific Division last year.
Based on its 6-0 start in the Pacific this spring, there's merit to the argument, although the Vikings only loss prior to the spring break was a non-league setback to Palma.
Pitching has carried North Salinas as Joseph Gutierrez and Isaac Garcia have taken turns taming opponents in the starting rotation.
Monterey is searching for answers right now, having dropped four straight games, including three by 2-1 scores.
The Toreadores need more than Anthony Russo making contact at the plate, otherwise their lengthy run of postseason appearances will be in jeopardy.
