Devin Pearson

 The junior has returned to the starting lineup for the Cal baseball team after missing 20 games from a broken hand suffered after being hit by a pitch in March.

  Pearson, who prepped at Carmel, is hitting .304 for the Bears in 15 starts in the outfield with two homers and 12 runs batted in. He’s also scored 11 runs and remains second on the team in hit by pitches.
  In the field, he has been flawless in 30 chances. A two-time Herald Athlete of the Year, Pearson was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays out of high school.
