The former Pacific Grove pitching ace has made four relief appearances for the UC Santa Barbara baseball team, posting a 3.86 earned run average.
Clements has thrown seven innings, striking out five with a fastball reaching the high 80s. He has not allowed a run in his past three outings.
The freshman right hander pitched Pacific Grove to back-to-back Central Coast Section Division III titles, and didn't lose a game as a junior in 2013.
