Bill Kearney Meet

Some events to watch at today's Bill Kearney track and field invitational at Hartnell College include the girls 100 and 200, where Catalina's Mikyla Revera is scheduled to compete.
Revera, who ran the second fastest time in Monterey County history last week in the 400 (55.95), has the top mark in the CCS in the 100 meters (12.20), and has run 25.15 in the 200.
Less than a stride could separate North Salinas' Raul Barraza (1:57.40) and Edgar Bonilla of King City (1:58.68) in the 800,
Palma's Kasey Corey (22.56) and reigning MTAL 200 meter champion Zachery Miller (23.07) of Pacific Grove will square off in the 200.
And the women's discus has two of the top throwers in the CCS in D'Vina Brown of Salinas  (115-1) and North Salinas' Elizabeth Alcala (115-0), a section finalist last spring.
