No. 11 West Campus (19-10) at No. 5 Palma (22-5), 7 p.m.
The reward for playing in the CCS Open Division playoffs was not only an automatic seed into the State Division IV tournament, but a home game for the Gabilan Division champions.
Runner-ups in the Golden Empire League in Sacramento, West Campus fell in the semifinals of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs.
Three players are averaging 10 or more points a game, including 6-foot-4 senior guard Kevin Dent, who is dropping in 17.3 points. Teammate Marcus Muccular is averaging 15.1 points. The Chieftains have been a defensive minded team all season that moves the ball around the court to find an open shot on the perimeter to the likes of Jack Brusa and sophomore Jamaree Bouyea.
While the 3-point arc has been a hot spot in the playoffs, the offense still runs through 6-8 Gabilan Division MVP Wyatt Maker.
