Projected baseball finishes

Monterey Bay League
Gabilan Division
1. San Benito: Eight league titles in nine years.
2. Monterey: Might be the most balanced team in the league.
3. Palma: You're no longer on the bubble.
4. Christopher: A darkhorse in a balanced Gabilan Division.
5. Salinas: Played arguably the strongest non-league schedule.
6. Gilroy: Needs more than pitching ace Justin Hale.
7. Monte Vista: All four non-league losses came in Texas.

Pacific Division
1. North Salinas: Probably should be in the Gabilan Division this year.
2. Watsonville: Chris Rivera might be the best player in the league.
3. North County: Could easily be 3-1 instead of 1-3.
4. Alvarez: Looking to build off last year's postseason run.
5. Seaside: Easily the youngest team in the Pacific Division with a big upside.
6. Alisal: The Trojans just might sneak up on this league?
7. Pajaro Valley: Looking to snap a 66 game league losing streak.

Mission Trail Athletic League
1. Carmel: Most of the parts from last year's MTAL title team are back.
2. Pacific Grove: The pitching was outstanding in the preseason.
3. Soledad: Clearly has the talent to contend for supremacy.
4. King City: That 4-0 non-league start is not a fluke.
5. Stevenson: You can make an argument to flip teams 1-through-5 in the MTAL.
6. Greenfield: The Bruins are going to be a thorn in opponents' side all year.
7. Gonzales: Be patient at Gonzales as the rebuilding process continues.
