Saturday's game
No. 5 Palma (23-5) at No. 4 Capital Christian, Sacramento (24-8), 6 p.m.
These teams have two things in common.
Both went 12-0 in their respective leagues.
And both have faced West Campus.
The Chieftains opened the Nor Cal Tournament with a 69-64 win over West Campus while Capital Christian beat them twice during league play -- by 35 points and six in the rematch.
Sophomore guard Jamaree Bouyea is coming off a career high 27 point effort for Palma, in which he knocked down five 3-point goals -- four in the second half.
As a team the Chieftains nailed 10 3-point goals in Wednesday's win. The Cougars will have to think twice before sagging down on 6-foot-8 Wyatt Maker.
The Sac-Joaquin Section champions have won nine straight games -- average margin of victory 22.2 points -- with their last loss coming from state ranked Modesto Christian
Capital Christian is similar to Palma with its balanced scoring attack as Justice Shelton-Mosley is averaging nearly 13 points a game while Tiegen Jones is dropping in 12.8 points.
