North Salinas-Palma baseball

 This game intrigues me.
 We know North Salinas is a good team.
 Palma is still a mystery.
 While the Vikings were running off with a Pacific Division title last year, Palma finished last in the Gabilan Division.
 However, North Salinas didn't go up and Palma didn't go down in the equity meeting discussions.
 That suggests Palma felt it would bounce back this year. So far, it's hard to argue with the results as it is off to a 3-0 start, outscoring teams 22-6.
 Did North Salinas feel slighted about not moving up?
 I doubt it. It lost six starters.
 Still the Vikings were impressive in a 9-6 season opening win over Salinas. This team is going to win a lot of games with Joseph Gutierrez and Isaac Garica on the mound.
