North County-North Salinas baseball

It's no longer a two-team battle in the Pacific Division.
North County is going to have a voice in this.
It took extra innings for the Condors to fall from the unbeaten ranks in the Pacific Division.
Still, splitting with Watsonville serves as a confidence builder going into today's road battle against defending champion North Salinas.
Owners of 16 straight Pacific Division wins, the Vikings have pounded the ball for 44 runs in four league games.
Then again, the combined record of those two teams is 0-10 in the Pacific Division.
Two days after going on the road and beating Watsonville in extra frames, the Condors fell in nine innings to the Wildcatz -- the only team to beat North Salinas last year.
North County is no stranger to playing road games this year, as it has been a visitor in six of its first seven games.
The Condors have been involved in five games decided by one run, where they are 3-2.
