Two-time Winter Olympian bobsledder Nick Cunningham was the highest United States finisher in the 2-man bobsled at the World Championships in Winterberg, Germany.
Cunningham and his partner Alex Harrison raced to a 12th place finish out of 33 sleds. He will drive the United States 4-man bobsled team on Saturday.A former sprinter and football standout at Monterey High and Monterey Peninsula College, Cunningham was a driver for the United States' 2-man and 4-man bobsled teams in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
