The former Salinas High and Hartnell College slugger was named the CCAA softball Player of the Week for CSU-East Bay.
MacDonald tore up pitching last week with four homers.
The senior is hitting .340 for East Bay with team highs in homers (7), runs batted in (20), runs scored (15) and hits (19).
Last year MacDonald hit six homers in 53 games for East Bay. She was Salinas High's Athlete of the Year in 2010.
MacDonald was also named the NFCA DII National Player of the Week by Louisville Slugger.
