Final girls basketball rankings

1. North Salinas: The CCS D1 champions were No. 1 from start to finish.
2. San Benito: Big turnaround this year for the Balers program.
3. Monte Vista: Seven players will be back from a 19 win team.
4. Christopher: Was a senior heavy team this past season.
5. Notre Dame: The Pacific Division champions will be gutted by graduation.
6. Carmel: The MTAL's Most Valuable Player will be back next year.
7. Pacific Grove: Imagine winning 12 straight games, but not a league title.
8. Salinas: Two sophomores helped anchor this program this past year.
9. North County: A big second half gives the Condors something to build on for next year.
10. Alisal: Will build around the development of two sophomores and a freshman.
 On the bubble: Santa Catalina, Greenfield, Alvarez, Seaside, Stevenson.
