Eastside Prep-Stevenson boys hoops

CCS Division V semifinals
Wednesday's game
No. 7 Eastside Prep (14-12) vs. No. 6 Stevenson (18-7) at Santa Clara High, 7:30 p.m.
Don't be mislead by the Panthers 2-12 West Bay Division record. They are undefeated outside league play (12-0), including a 45-39 win over No. 2 seed St. Francis Catholic.
Eastside will be one of the quickest teams that the Pirates have seen all season, as four freshmen see  extensive time on the court.
Owners of five straight wins and 10 of its last 11, Stevenson is one of the best 3-point shooting teams left in the playoffs, having knocked down 208 this season.
Sophomore Parker Olin has 83 by himself for the Pirates. Seniors Matt Chodosh and Jack Burgess combined for 31 points in the teams 60-57 win over Oakwood in the quarterfinals.
The last time Stevenson played in the CCS semifinals was in 2008, when it fell to eventual Division IV champ Menlo. Prior to that was in 1979, when there were no divisions.
