The 6-foot-4 right hander continues to pitch well for the St. Mary's baseball team, sporting a team-leading 2.61 earned run average among starting pitchers.
Neff has 34 strikeouts in 31 innings of work for St. Mary's. In five starts, the sophomore is just 1-2 with two no decisions.
Last spring as a freshman for the Gaels, Neff was 5-8 with 60 strikeouts in 81 innings of work. As a senior at Palma, he hurled the Chieftains to a league title.
