Wednesday's game
State Northern California Division I playoffs
No. 10 Salinas (22-6) at No. 7 Berkeley (19-10), 7 p.m.
Runner-ups in the North Coast Section, the Yellowjackets are an up-tempo unit with a roster that ranges between 6-feet and 6-4 across the board.
Berkeley's home record is not flashy, having gone just 9-4 this year.
In the state tournament for the first time since 2009, Salinas showed its resilience in the postseason with wins by two, four and one point to reach the CCS Division I finals.
Nat Hunsdorfer has continued to be the team's most consistent player on both ends of the court while LaRon Logwood has given the offense another option in the playoffs.
A concern for Salinas is production from the bench, which has produced just five points in the last two games.
