Baseball rankings

1. San Benito: The pitching staff has not allowed a run in league play.
2. Carmel: The defending MTAL champions have a surplus of bats.
3. Monterey: The offense has been shut out twice this year.
4. Pacific Grove: Used a late inning rally and extra innings to win two games last week.
5. Salinas: Two gems were thrown last week for the streaking Cowboys:
6. Palma: Is just 1-3 since coming off the bubble.
7. North Salinas: Averaging over 10 runs a game in its three wins.
8. Christopher: Pitching has been sporadic for Christopher.
9. Soledad: There are a lot of potent bats in this lineup.
10. Watsonville: A team to watch in the Pacific Division.
 On the bubble: Stevenson, King City, Gilroy, North County.
