Soledad-Monterey boys hoops

CCS Division III playoffs
Tuesday's game
Soledad (9-15) at Monterey (12-12), 7 p.m.
A strong finish catapulted the Aztecs into the postseason.
Now, can it build off that momentum going into tonight's CCS Division III meeting at Monterey?
Despite an 0-6 start to the year, Soledad was competitive, losing four of those games by four points or less.
To a degree, the Aztecs have already been in playoff mood, needing to win their final three MTAL games to get into the postseason.
Monterey struggled down the stretch, losing three of its final four Gabilan Division games, including two at home.
The smaller Monterey gym will not effect Soledad, who like the Toreadores, will play an up-tempo track meet style of game.
Soledad has to keep an eye on sophomore Kobe Ordonio, who can light up a gym, knocking down 60 3-point goals this year for the Toreadores.
A scoring by committee approach at Soledad includes David Medeiros and Mark Valladarez.
